Fashion designer Charina Sarte ties the knot with French businessman Valentin Kretz in Morocco

Charina Sarte and Valentin Kretz chose a most picturesque venue for their wedding this 8 July: Morocco’s famed Beldi Gardens. Overlooking the Atlas Mountains, the 14-hectare garden is a property of the Beldi Country Club in Marrakech. The couple first visited the garden in 2015 upon the recommendation of Valentin’s brother and instantly fell in love with the place. A welcome dinner was scheduled at the Riad Orangerie in the old town of Medina Prior to the ceremony. Valentin proposed to Charina on New Year’s Day this year in Krabi, Thailand, where they first met four years ago. The couple was in a long-distance relationship for years until Sarte moved to Paris last February.
