SUNSHOWER: CONTEMPORARY ART FROM SOUTHEAST ASIA 1980S TO NOW

The exhibition, held simultaneously in two Tokyo museums, is thus far Japan’s most notable display of Southeast Asian art. It explores the creative art scene from the ’ 80s onwards and the multifaceted issues surrounding it: from identity to freedom; democracy to post-colonialism.
