P500,000 worth of drugs seized

AN estimated P500,000 worth of illegal drugs was seized by the police in a buy-bust operation at Barangay 7 in Bacolod City Thursday.

Arrested was Rey Demonteverde, 21, of Sitio Sibucao, Barangay Banago.

Demonteverde was caught selling suspected shabu to a police undercover at the 12:28 a.m.

Police recovered from Demonteverde’s possession were 11 sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride), drug paraphernalia, and the P500 marked money.
