OVER a million is now up for anyone who can point to the killers of Henry Lao.

The Guardians Reform Advocacy for Cooperation and Economic Prosperity,Inc. (GRACE-GUARDIAN) National Chairman retired General Isagani Nerez has appealed anew the Filipino-Chinese community and law enforcement agencies to help solve the case.

GRACEG-UARDIAN’s have now upped the reward money from P1 million to P1.5 million with the help of the Lao family.

Nerez said they have coordinated with the

Baguio City Police Office, National Bureau of Investigation, Criminal Investigation and Detection GroupCordillera and other law enforcement agencies to pursue the effort and continue investigating the case of Henry Lao and show to the public that this and other cases are not left unattended, especially because they are big issues affecting the city's peace and order.

Nerez said the family is still hoping the case will be solved.

Despite the reward, no leads have been made to crack the murder of Filipino Chinese businessman.

On December 2016, the city was rocked by the brutal slay of the Chinese Filipino businessman.

Lao was found lifeless in his home in an apparent murder, suffering multiple stab wounds.

The 68 – years - old Filipino Chinese is prominently known to own various businesses in the city which includes the chain of Tiong San department stores aside from hotels and other business.

Neighbors heard loud noises the night before the murder and saw an unidentified male coming out of the Lao residence but police found no signs of forced entry inside the home of the businessman.

The absence of a Close Circuit Television (CCTV) camera inside and outside his house have proved to be a major setback in the resolution of the case.

Police have no leads to this day as to the whereabouts of the Lao killers.

GRACE-Guardians has culled reward money to whoever can provide leading to the solving of the murder coupled with money from other private sources with the bounty has totaled to almost to P2million.
