BRIGADA Eskwela is a yearly program done before classes start in a public or private schools. Two weeks before the program tarpaulins and notices were supposedly posted for the stakeholders to know when this program start. First day of Brigada Eskwela at Baguio Gold Elementary School was opened in a prayer service. Pastor Ignacio Caput of Assembly of God, Tuding, Itogon sacrificed his time and dedication to do the prayer service in the school at 9:00 A.M. It was then followed by a short program. The volunteer parents or stakeholders and teachers were oriented by the school Head, Dr. Marylin A. Tolbe, what brigada eskwela is.

The energetic school head, Dr. M. Tolbe, invited through letters some agencies like barangay LGU, PNP, Military Forces and some stakeholders who wanted to join the Brigada Eskwela and share their blessings for the good of the school. It was not then a failure. More blessings showered the school. The Contructors association of Itogon donated 1 load of sand and 20 bags of cements, Benguet Corporation Inc. 12 bags of cements, Heide Balante-4 bags of cements and cash, LGU barangay of Tuding 5 gallons of paints worth of more or less 2600.00 and other supporters gave cash. Aside from these, they also rendered volunteer work like the military forces had dug holes for the trash for biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials. Some painted aparadors, cabinets and walls. Some volunteers worked on the unfinished flower boxes that were not done last 2016 brigada. These volunteered stakeholders helped prepare teachers and the school ready for the school year 2017-2018. God bless you more.
