LOCAL ladies par busters will match skills against seasoned foreign players the ICTSI Riviera Ladies Championship which fires off Tuesday (July 25) at Riviera’s Langer course in Silang, Cavite.
Thai ace and defending titlist Saruttaya Ngamusawan lead the cast of foreign entries, vying top honors in the P750,000 tournament serving as the sixth leg of the eight-stage circuit sponsored by ICTSI.
Ngam-usawan’s victory was marked by her steady long drives and patience in attacking en route to beat former three-time LPGT Order of Merit winner Cyna Rodriguez and claim the Royal Northwoods crown late last year.
Other players seeing action in the 54-hole championship at the tough, ravine-laced par-71 layout are Tiranan Yoopan, Supakchaya Pattaranakrueang, Chatprapa Siriprakob, Jaruporn Naayutthawa, Numa Gulyanamitta and Sarinee Thitiratanakorn.
