Ex – General turns to wellness center
A RETIRED bemedalled police general, who has served Cordillera most of his years in public service, has a soft spot for beauty and wellness reason that he helped his wife, a banker, to establish a homegrown facial center and wellness spa.
Retired police general Villamor Bumanglag and wife, Ma. Elena, are currently overseeing the newly renovated and improved Romanelle Oriental Centre & Wellness Spa at Upper Bonifacio Street, corner Laurel Street in Baguio.
The wellness center has been operational for years now but the couple decided to renovate the American-inspired threestorey house with modern equipment and setup to better serve their growing number of clients.
Known to be a health buff, being a runner and a golfer, Bumanglag said they thought of opening an establishment to cater to the increasing number of individuals seeking their kind of services.
The establishment has a sauna that can accommodate four to five persons.
Among the services offered by their welltrained therapists are stone body massage, ventosa body massage, and traditional Thai massage. Clients have other options such as plain, aroma or herbal body massage.
The body care services include slimming sauna, body scrub and wrap, detoxifying spa, bleaching/waxing, radio frequency slimming treatment, hand and foot spa and bio spa.
Other services are lightening facial, purifying or rejuvenating facial, hydra collagen facial, vitamin C facial, diamond peel, 24K powder mask facial and galvanic spa, which minimizes and smoothens the appearance of body fat and cellulite for slimmer looking body.
“Our center has opened its doors to cater to people’s beauty
and wellness needs. Let our well-trained therapists pamper and give clients the best treatment they deserve,” Bumanglag said.
There is no doubt clients would appreciate the quality of service, as Bumanglag still sustains the tradition of excellence even after retiring from government service. PR
