San Roque Corporation sponsors LAC Session Materials of Kindergarten to Grades III teachers of Itogon I

ITOGON District I conducted five days district LAC Sessions on Learning Action Cell on Developmentally Appropriate Practices In Early Language Literacy and Numeracy at Tuding Elementary School, Tuding, Itogon, Benguet last July 7, 14, 21, 28, 2017 and August 5, 2017.

LAC sessions were participated by the Itogon District I teachers from Kindergarten to Grades III, principals and Rosita T. Dayag, Public Schools District Supervisor.

This Sessions of the principles of child growth and development with different principles and appropriate assessment tools for remediation/intervention in English and Mathematics using literacy and numeracy games and constructed teaching materials for Kindergarten to Grades III. The materials used in constructing teaching materials was sponsored by the San Roque Corporation.

Part of the activity in the session are film viewing about different strategies on teaching Language Literacy and Numeracy and construction of teaching materials, wherein the group of Maretes N. Padsuyan, teacher of Pacalso Elementary School won 2nd prize in the contest.

With the different learnings acquired in that LAC session, teachers are ready to use it effectively in their teachings and ready to come up with reading materials and Mathematics intervention which will help address learners’ difficulties. Dacwagen is truly a gifted person aside from his teaching skill in sports, he is innately artistic. At present he is beautifying the school walls with his artistic design that catches the attention of the pupils that motivated them to paint on a sheet of papers imitating his painting.
