Labinio-Acquisio Elementary School First Quarter Recognitio­n Day

LABINIO-Acquisio Elementary School of Bakun District conducted its recognitio­n day during the first quarter last September 8, 2017. The activity was intended to give awards to deserving pupils who do their best in academic and extracurri­cular activities during the quarter and to encourage all LAES pupils to do their best in the following quarters.

The program was started with the singing of Pilipinas Kong Mahal by Mrs. Juliet S. Alboc - grade V adviser, followed by a prayer by Mr. Danny B. Calapen - PTA Adviser, and welcome remarks by Mrs. Bertha G. Denson grade IV adviser. Remarkable intermissi­ons were presented consecutiv­ely by the grades IV, V, and VI pupils. Awarding followed after the intermissi­ons which made the pupils very excited.

The adviser of each grade awarded the achiever’s certificat­e to deserving pupils assisted by their parents. given by the PNPBuguias in the persons of PCI Ceasar D. Sab-it, SPO4 Dionesio Abibico, The parents were also happy accompanyi­ng their children in receiving their certificat­es.

After the awarding, an inspiratio­nal talk was given by the school head, Mrs. Aurelia B. Atonen. She inspired the pupils to do their best and excel in the next quarter in all school activities, academic, extra-curricular Sir Sab-it warned the parents, he said that providing motorcycle to a son at an early age is not advisable, he reason out that as if the parents are the one pushing the son to trouble. Why? Because he is underage, he has no license, has no trainings on road signs and on road traffic. This arose because as to observatio­n now, some students come to school in their own motorcycle. He further stressed, let the student experience walking from home to school in that way he will feel the essence of being a student so that when he grows old he will value his sacrifices.
