2017 Zone IV athletic meet : Barangay Catlubong champion
BARANGAY Catlubong maintained its title as the Champion for the 2017 Zone IV Athletic Meet held at Buguias Central School, Poblacion, Buguias, Benguet on September 8, 2017. The competing barangays were Amlimay, Catlubong, Poblacion and Sebang. Barangay Sebang as the 1st Runner up, Barangay Poblacion- 2nd Runner up and Barangay Amlimay as the 3rd Runner up. Catlubong athletes garnered 17 gold, 19 silver and 11 bronze. Sebang athletes garnered 8 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze. Poblacion athletes garnered 6 gold, 10 silver and 7 bronze. And Amlimay athletes garnered 5 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze.
Barangay Amlimay was represented by the following schools: Amlimay E/S, Guioeng E/S and Kimpit E/S. Catlubong Barangay composed of Bot-oan E/ S and CatlubongAdiston E/S. For Barangay Poblacion: Buguias Central School, Naytokyab E/S and Kayang Primary School. And for Barangay Sebang: composed of Bacasen-Wakit E/S, Pasbol-Belino E/S, and for leadership in scouting and underline the necessity for discipline and good order. This was made possible through the initiation of Council Scout Executive Marie Glo Ramos-Dawagui. Jomelyn S. Quidmas closing message that those who did not make it should do better next time while the winners continue to practice and do their best for the next competition. Infamila A. There is no perfect life in this world. We all commit mistakes to learn. People envy us and try to pull us down but make it is an inspiration to stand and achieve what we aiming for not only for ourselves but for our loved ones.
