The engineering of creative ideas

FROM the small chips in little handheld device that is carried everyday and everywhere to the huge space shuttles that got humankind to the moon… these revolutionary concepts started as intangible – starting from the mind. If not for innovation and persistence, these things would not have come to existence. But the one vital thing needed in turning an idea into a revolutionary piece of world history is creativity. The most cutting edge idea can just be one of those ideas that may go down the drain if it is not ingeniously artistic. Is it toning down drive into getting ideas out of one’s head and into reality once the thought does not qualify? If the answer was ‘yes’, then a lot of the everyday convenient innovations would not be enjoyed.

Ideas do not translate to desired results overnight. Ideas are fragile. They are like infants that require time and constant attention for it to continue to grow into what one would want it to be.

At first, it might seem that the idea is not what the world needs at the moment, or it isn’t going to bring anyone success. The truth is that it is possible. But that is why ideas are only beginnings, merely launching pads. While it stays in the mind, while it remains intangible, do what needs to be done for it to creatively progress in a mental environment. Because the amazing thing about progress in a mental environment is that it is limitless and that is where creativity thrives.

Creativity is not bound by anything except the barriers one has defined, the thinker, has placed upon them. Things that are not even hard to do and/or gain feed ideas crafted by creativity. Passion of course, is one essential trait one must have in order for a mental image to stay in good quality. Another is a constant thirst for knowledge regarding everything that revolves around your idea. Doing research and consulting other people are keys to molding and modifying the ideas.
