Loo National High School scouts hold position in sofad 2017
FIVE students (3 GSP and 2 BSP) of Loo National High School, Loo, Buguias, Benguet participated in the screening for office placement in the 2017 Scout Officials for a Day (SOFAD) of Benguet province held at Benguet Council Auditorium, Km5, La Trinidad last September 16, 2017
The selected students had undergone a process of trainings to be identified in the said positions. The SOFAD members with their assignments are: Rojohn P. Sabayao as provincial Board Member, Cholo Karl M. Bonagan as BSU-Main Dean College of Veterinary Medicine, Charlene L. Babag as Provincial Prosecutor, Gemaria T. Tolingan as BSU Vice President for Research and Extension and Kimberly G. Bacdayan as the Provincial Governor.
Further, they will be having their oath of office and turnover before finally sitting in their respective assignment at Ben Palispis Hall, Provincial Capitol on October 9, 2017.
Moreover, after the day, they will also be receiving cash money or honorarium as their salary for one day. Joining the SOFAD is a challenging experience for the Scouts for they tried and explore the duties and responsibilities of the position they will be sitting with and this may perhaps encourage them to pursue the person in authority if given a chance, said Mrs. Melinda S. Esteban, LooNHS Girl scout troop leader, said in an interview. She continued to challenge not only the scouts but to all students to do good in their studies and the person they wanted to and what they deserve to be. Lobencio R. Mascua
