Innovative connections

-

IN a world with heaps of artificial and shallow content, people crave the authenticity of art. If the world today loves anything, it would most likely be original, creative content produced by passionate and dedicated artists. Moving with the rapid rise of the digital age, creators and artists have found more ways to share their share their content.

The Internet and its different platforms have created opportunities for people to connect, making it more efficient for the companies and the artists to fit each other’s demands, needs, and working style. In line with that, the modernization of technology paves an avenue for digital artists and their work to gain more traction. Business structures are still so fluid with the flexible and new industry.

Especially since the systems between 1900 and 2000 had a lot of systems that had a great number of “middle men” just to get a product. However, the Internet instantly connects everyone across the globe, cutting corners and bringing people closer than ever before, sometimes literally face-to-face despite the daunting distance between them, such as a video call.

The beauty in of the digital age is that even artists from remote places can connect, be found, and be potentially sought out by companies and potential clients, either on a national or international scale. For the working artist, they get the chance to post their portfolio online, with easy access to all.

With all that being said, it is really up to the artist to make the first move and put themselves out there to be open to critique so that they may be tapped by clients. It may be daunting, especially with a good amount of competition, but one must first open a line to create a connection.
