-

AFTER the establishment of Shared Services Facilities (SSF) among cooperators and conducting entrepreneurial mentoring to Cordillera micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the Department of Trade and Industry in the Cordillera Region is set to hold an SSF and MSME Development Summit on November 7 and 8 2017 in Baguio City.

DTI-CAR regional director Myrna Pablo announced the twin event at the Hotel Supreme will be a “big push” for the SME Program which aims to increase competence and competitiveness of MSMEs in the region.

Pablo stressed the summit intends to position Cordillera’s MSMEs at the forefront of the ASEAN Economic Community’s (AEC) priority of “inclusive, innovation-led growth” agenda aside from serving as a platform for sharing best practices among successful entrepreneurs in the country.
