ZOMBIE walk is an event open to all Baguio citizens and tourists. #ZwalkBaguio started in 2011 and was organized solely by Magnum Artistry Global. One can come to the event in costume, or register for free to get “zombified”. It was initially planned as a charitable event to raise funds for the street children and in 2012 partnered with Thrill the World - a Michael Jackson inspired dance craze where participants would dance to “Thriller” simultaneously in 127 cities around the globe.

Make-up and prosthetics are done by volunteers and MAG members in coordination with local Cosplay groups in Baguio. The event was introduced as a flash mob in its early years until the concept caught on and became popular with locals, students and tourists. Zombie Walk is an event where the young people express themselves in arts, make-up, creativity, and best of all mingle with others who share the same interests.

Fun and excitement await the participants of #zwalk 7! The zombies will be led by the Black Raven Marching Band and a Zombie Street Fashion Show by Vortex Models International. There will be prizes, games for kids and participants at the Igorot Garden. See you this November 5! MAG photo files courtesy of Carl Paolo Corpuz of Vortex Models International.
