JO nurse takes part in educating pupils

GAMBANG, Bakun— Job order nurse Relyn Sala-id Manuel of Labilab Sub-Clinic of this barangay lectured to the Grades II and III pupils of TingbaoenGalisen Elementary School Labilab, Gambang, Bakun in respond to the request of the class adviser last October 3, 2017.

Manuel lectured to 15 pupils the common childhood diseases, the signs and symptoms and also the prevention and treatment of each disease during the MAPEH period.

She reminded also the pupils about proper hand washing and proper tooth brushing through demonstration. She added the importance of cleanliness in child’s health.

Though Manuel ad- mitted that lecturing to pupils was a very challenging experienced; the lecture went smoothly and was a success. Discipline and interest of the pupils were maintained.
