A kid’s gateway

-

IMAGINE a little girl excitedly attempting to drag her mom into the cinema, as she remains wide-eyed while waiting for the trailers that eventually lead up to the muchawaited animated film. These films open up young minds into a whole realm of possibilities allowing them to imagine worlds yet unknown, but sometimes, not allowing them to find an outlet to release their creative thoughts.

Thankfully, the arts are the perfect way to express those abstract thoughts. One of the outlets, such as animation has been on the rise, especially within the past decade, with movies such as Inside Out, Moana, and Finding Dory! These complex stories are practically visual feasts that allow your kids to explore the never-ending world of creativity with animation, which is becoming more and more recognized as the platform for sharing a wide range and variety of stories.

And sometimes, the key to the gateway to start their adventure simply begins with a crayon and canvas – hopefully not the house walls but scrap paper. Kids need to have the space and resources to develop their skills at a young age. The best thing for parents to do is to continually encourage and support them, for maybe someday it may pay off and turn out to become a career path or hobby in the future. No matter what they choose, they’ll be able to share more colorful stories in this world, possibly inspiring the next great artist!
