PCNHS intramurals 2017

WITH the theme “Enhancing Camaraderie in the pursuit of unity and harmony through Larong Lahi”, the School Intramurals was held on November 17, 2017 at the school Quadrangle from 8 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon.

The Intramurals officially opened, with the introduction of Team 1: Red Team led by: Mr. Napoleon Paris, Team 2: Blue team headed by Ms. Jeanne Dacalcap, Team 3: Black Team supervised by Mr. Rusty Tarnate.

Each team prepared a yell and a cheer as each team was called. It was followed by the pledge of sportsmanship. As the opening ceremony came to close, all players were guided to their team area to prepare for the next game

In relation to Larong lahi; Buko relay, sack race, Hilaan ng Lubid, Sabayang karera sa kamay and basagan ng Banga, were played by the different teams. The games aim to instill patriotism and love of things as a Filipino, to enliven communities to bringing back the fun in neighborhood and to instill significant values of culture and tradition in students and teachers.

On an open note, the normal procedure was done by Mrs. Virginia Ulatan, Head Teacher of Araling Panlipunan Department-Officer In Charge who gave the opening remarks and led the releasing of the ceremonial balloons together with by Barangay Chairman Benjamin Macadangdang, the PTA president.

Everybody was so tense that you can almost feel a different kind of competitive as everyone waited for the announcement of winners. Over all, the blue team won the first place while the black team settled for the second place and the red team landed the third place.

This activity are given a break from stressful day and a sportsmanship for students and teachers who joined and been part of the event. Maricel Mendoza
