The project dubbed as “Rev the Toilets Campaign” under the tourism department aims to put into standard all private and public toilets along tourist highways to make travel easier.

Set this week, the project will be rolled out with the first phase traversing the Halsema Highway covering Baguio-Sagada and Bontoc-Banaue and the Baguio-Kayapa road.

Tan said the DOT with the Department of Public Works and Highways with local government units will be collaborating on how to improve the situation of public and private toilets along the highways in a bid to provide the public with clean, safe and tourism
