Pines City National High School @ 40

PINES City National High School (PCNHS) celebrated its 44th years of more than four decades of academic excellence with the theme “PCNHS @ 44:Soaring High Through Dedicated Service”.

The program started @8:00 in the morning with a thanksgiving Mass presided by Father Eligio Lubina , (CICM) and attended by the teachers, students, Administration, PTA officers, retirees and alumni of the school. Itwas followed by the welcome remarks given by Mrs. Virginia Ulatan, Head Teacher of the Araling Panlipunan Department-Officer In charge of the school.

Then an intermission presented by the Special Program for the Arts (Culture and Arts) students’ care of the adviser and trainor Maricel L. Mendoza, Mary Luz De la Cruz and .Michael Aboc.

In addition, the Introductory of the guest speaker was done by Pastor Guillermo Colado for Ms. Soledad Go, the Treasurer and Board member of Berkeley School-Baguio. It was continued by the awarding of the dedicated, passionate, loyal teachers and retirees who gave ten (10) years in service until thirty eight (38) years of true service for the institution, and who never fails to pay back the fruitful years of services rendered.

The Pines City National High School band and singers prepared outstanding performances that showcase their God given talents and they welcomed the awardees as they received their awards.

The classroom decoration, booth, and a joyful music brought about the festive ambiance. This year’s celebration of was still a huge success with the cooperation of the PCNSEA Officers, the different club organizations and advisers, the students and the administration of Pines.

The program ended by PCNHSEA president Mr. Andre Paolo Galong, who gave the closing remarks and free lunch for everybody.

Indeed, Foundation Day is one of the most enjoyable and exciting days of the year when the whole school gathers and celebrates. Hence, it is a day of remembrance, a day to reminisce and to honor our school; a day to celebrate what has been achieved over the 44 years, and the beginning of a positive day to look forward what is yet to come for another years of Achievement.
