Nurses take part in Children’s month celebration

NURSE Deployment Program of Barangay Gambang Miss Quendra Mae Acquisio Cobsilen and Municipal Job Order Nurse Relyn Sala-id Manuel took part in the celebration of children’s month in Tingbaoen-Galisen Elementary School, Labilab, Gambang, Bakun, Benguet last November 17, 2017.

As part of the celebration, NDP Nurse Cobsilen lectured the “Sampung (10) Karapatan ng Bawat Batang Pilipino” to Grades IV, V and VI pupils, teachers and parents of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4P) beneficiaries as part of their family development session.

She said that “Idawat di support, ayat, taripato sin aanak ta manbalin da ay pagwadan sin ili” as a conclusion.

In addition, the Teacher-In-Charge of the said school, Mr. Pedro P. Langbis advised the pupils to understand their parents and be responsible. He reminded the parents also that they should protect their children against the negative changes in the environment.

Meanwhile, Nurse Manuel helped in supervising the Kindergarten and Grade I pupils in preparing materials for the Christmas decoration making. The Grades II and III pupils also were supervised by their adviser with their landscape painting.

After the lecture, the pupils were with their respective groupings which were assigned prior to the activity. Every group made their own Christmas decoration out of recycled materials with the supervision of the nurses and the teachers.
