Make your job easier and enjoyable

WORK efficiency is doing the right job in the right way. Work simplification is the ability to make a job easier to do. Work could simply be started as soon as the need originates. However, if some work must be expedited while other work can be routinely handled, a scheduling plan is very helpful. Also, if the office becomes overloaded with work, scheduling becomes a permanent need.

It is an irony, that for some, work is more than just a way of putting food on the table. For other people, work dominates and defines their lives. As a result, they get in the habit of delaying doing things. They cannot enjoy a book, a play, a song or appreciate a beautiful sunset.

In making work easier, take it positive. Keep communication simple. Say it politely or say it abruptly but learn how to say it. Approach the client well to help make your work easier and enjoyable. Don’t make others wait. Spend time wisely. Never allow your work to pile up. Tackle the jobs one by one. Resist the slightest temptation to procrastinate.

Work simplification improves efficiency and effectivity. It implies the organized use of common sense to find better ways of doing work. It is knowing what to do and when to do it.
