TLE/TVLandALSteachers of Benguet expects for their TM certificates

41 Secondary High School (SHS) Teachers of Benguet under the different components (Home Economics, Agri-Fishery Arts, Industrial Arts, and Information and Communication Te c h n o l o g y ) of Technical-VocationalLivelihood (TVL) or Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) and Alternative Learning System (ALS) are due to receive their Trainers’ Methodology Certificate (TMC) 1 in the 1st quarter of this year.

This advancement of teachers is in accord with the DepEd CAR Memorandum 320 series of 2017 (2017 Package for TVL teachers of Strengthened Technical Vocational Program Teachers and teachers of ALS) which aims for SHS teachers -TLE/TVL track in the region to acquire a higher degree of their skills and to enhance their knowledge for better teaching of the TVL strands on TLE/TVL curriculum. Thus, procurement of the TMC 1.

In line of the aforementioned goal, a training course has been conducted on December 12 to Jan 5, 2018, through the initiative of the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Benguet in coordination with the Institute of Trade and Technology for Experts, Inc., held at the Benigno Auino Avenue, Quirino, Solano, Nueva Viscaya.

Currently, these teachers are preparing for their assessment, which are due on January 13-14, 2018 (1st batch) and on January 20-21, 2018 (2nd batch) at the same venue of their prior training.
