PRO-COR received the award after having proficient status in its performance governance system at the National Headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City on January 15.
Outgoing regional director Chief Superintendent Elmo Francis Sarona together with the Command Group and members of the PROCOR Regional Advisory Council received the award for fulfilling the requirements of the Proficiency Stage of the PNP’s Peace and Order Agenda for Transformation and Upholding the Rule of Law Plan 2030.
This achievement places PROCOR one step closer to the final stage of its transformation journey.
"This award was achieved and made possible by the hard work and collective efforts of every PROCOR personnel making this transformation a reality for the PNP Cordillera. It serves as an inspiration for each of us to re-ignite our commitment for a highly capable, effective and credible police service,” Sarona explained.
Sarona also thanked the RAC, its primary external stakeholder partner, for the council’s support and value-adding contributions making the achievement possible.
The outgoing PROCOR chief vowed to continue what it started and to strengthen the PNP’s resolve to fight criminality to ensure safety of the community through the strict implementation of Project Double Barrel: Reloaded and compliance to the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030.
“As we fulfill the proficiency level at its gold stage, I encourage everyone to keep the fire burning and let us again work together to surpass the challenges of the last stage which is the Institutionalization,” Sarona added.
