ANOTHER e-bingo operator is eyeing La Trinidad.

Alejandro Alonte, president of Bingo Palace Corp. submitted his intent to operate ebingo and other games approved by PAGCOR in the municipality to Mayor Romeo Salda on February 13.

Alonte is requesting for a letter of no objection.

"We would like to respectfully request for a letter of no objection, a requirement for our application to the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation for a license to operate e-bingo and other gaming activities," the letter said.

Councilor Guiler Galwan, who chairs the committee of ways and means said the

local council has not issued any letter of no objection e-bingo applications in the municpality.

“We will base our actions in the previous public consultation which will be placed in our report. The result contains the objection of the community which will be one of the basis not to allow bingo operators of La Trinidad," said Galwan.

Galwan added they will try to seek another round of public consultations but believes the result will still be the same.

Galwan said they have not yet made any committee reports following the e-bingo applications.

Bingo Palace Corp is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission authorized to primarily furnish, provide, operate, and maintain amusement and recreation facilities to the public, such as but not limited to bingo games.

Four e-bingo establishments have earlier applied to operate in Benguet’s capital town that includes Romeo Harve Chong under RCC Global Entertainment Inc., Elan Recreation headed by Raymundo Nazario, Leonora David Basbas of the David-Basbas Gaming Enterprise Corporation and Lolita Cabahug of the Cabahug Gaming Enterprise.

RCC, a Manila based gaming company, is eyeing to operate government approved gambling at the Jewel Igorot Building, along Km.4.
