Chocolate & The need for professional development Churros

-

High-quality teaching is not an accident. While some teachers are more evidently special than others, effective teaching is the upshot of preparation, dedication, commitment, practice, and hard work. A teacher can never discern enough about how pupils learn and what hampers their learning. Professional development is a way for teachers to achieve such awareness.

Successful professional development enables us, educators, to develop the knowledge and expertise we need to address pupils’ learning difficulties. The knowledge we have has become insufficient now. We need to be updated to help in equipping future generations to bloom in an environment of speedy, continuous and indispensable change. Children these days need fresh and distinctive style of teaching to sustain their interests.

Managing a 21st century classroom is a challenging task. Teaching profession needs a specialized and diversified set of skills. It obliges us to have extensive perspectives to cope with the latest dimensions in the teaching field. We have to be innovative in order to cater to the needs of the learners. It is also a requisite for us to become dynamic and adaptive to become victorious in providing the needs of the learners.

Teaching does not simply mean provision of the topics or competencies stated in the curriculum guide. Enhancing knowledge and skills will allow us to become flexible and attain desired learning goals. This will empower us when we execute activities for our learners to become holistic individuals.
