TNHS-Ready for work immersion

TACADANG National High School is offering General Academic Strand under Academic Track with Wellness Massage as elective subject for the Senior High School learners. The school prepared a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the massage center approved by the Schools Division superintendent, Marie Carolyn B. Verano, CESO VI where they will have their work immersion.

The grade 12 class will be having their Work Immersion at Rheyz Welness and Therapeutic Massage and Ateneo’s Massage with principal address at La Trinidad, Benguet represented by the managers Mr. James A. Miguel and Flora A. Miguel as the Massage Centers on February 22 to March 5, 2018. They will be accompanied by the following immersion teachers: Ms. Irene B. Monguil, Ms. Elizabeth M. Aplat and Mrs. Geneva C. Arbiso who were scheduled to take their turn every after 4 and 3 days respectively. And with the close monitoring of the school head, Mr. Fausto Sr. L. Sab-it.

The Work Immersion Program is a prerequisite for graduation (DepEd Order No. 30, s. 2017). A senior high school has to undergo work immersion in a business organization with work requirements related to the specialization. Through this program, the students are exposed to and are familiarized with the work-related environment to this field of specialization. The specific objectives are:

1.Gain relevant and practical industrial skills under the guidance of industry experts and workers.

2.Appreciate the importance and application of the principles and theories taught in the classroom.

3.Enhance their technical knowledge and skills

4.Prepare them to meet the needs and challenges of employment, entrepreneurship, or higher education after graduation. Leah K. Sab-it
