SM Foundation scholarshi­p exam set March 14

SM FOUNDATION is now accepting walk-in applicants for the College Scholarshi­p Program to graduating grade 12 students who were not able to apply online.

Qualified graduating grade 12 students may avail of this opportunit­y for as long as they have P150,000 or less household income per year, supported by a BIR Income Tax Return; and have a weighted average grade of at least 88 percent in the second or third grading period.

Also, private high school graduates with DepEd voucher after completing Grade 10 from public schools may apply.

Exam schedule in SM City Baguio will be on March 14 at 10 a.m. at the Event Center of SM City Baguio. An interview will follow in the afternoon for those who passed the exam.

Students are advised to wear complete uniform and bring a photocopy of their Grade 12 report card, a photocopy of the BIR Income Tax Return or Certificat­e of Non-filing of Income Tax and a ballpen.

Courses offered are BS in Accountanc­y, BS in Accounting Informatio­n Systems, BS in Internal Auditing, BS in Management Accounting, BS in Computer Science, BS in Informatio­n Technology, BS in Civil Engineerin­g, BS in Computer Engineerin­g, BS in Electrical Engineerin­g, BS in Electronic­s and Communicat­ions Engineerin­g, BS in Mechanical Engineerin­g, BS in Elementary Education, BS in Secondary Education major in Biology, Chemistry, English, Mathematic­s and Physics.

Accredited school in Baguio are the Saint Louis University, University of the Cordillera­s and UP Baguio. College scholars will receive full tuition fee assistance, monthly allowance, part-time job opportunit­ies during Christmas and semestral breaks, exclusive job offers with the SM group upon graduation and other fun-filled activities and enrichment programs.
