Cordi cops conduct multiple arrests

THE POLICE Regional Office Cordillera has intensifie­d campaigns on the arrest of wanted persons as it initiated the capture of eight fugitives in the region.

Three farmers were arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Valentin Marasigan with a recommende­d bail bond of P500 in Tabuk City, Kalinga on March 1 for violating Republic Act 947. Arrested were Longao Bulayang Dulag, 62, married; Lino Ayyok, 65, married and Tula Anton Bulayang, 62

In San Fermin, Cauayan Isabela, Arnel Pascua y Sarmiento, 31, single, rice mill operator and a resident of Agbannawag, Tabuk City, Kalinga was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Neljoe Cortes for theft with a recommende­d bail bond of P 40,000.

In Abra province, joint personnel from Bangued, San Juan and Licuan-Baay police arrested Oliver Barba Chio, 43, single, Ambulance driver at Abra Provincial Hospital and a resident of Brgy. Calaba, Bangued by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Raphiel Alzate for the crime of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and damage to property with a recommende­d bail bond of P30,000.

Joel Trinidad Barroga was also arrested March 1 in his residence at Zone 5, Bangued, Abra by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of reckless imprudence resulting to homicide and physical injuries.

Joe Pat Sotelo Banza, 34, OFW and a resident of Brgy. Macray, Bangued, Abra, was collared by police by virtue of a warrant of arrest for violating RA 9262 or Violence Against Women and Children with a recommende­d bail bond of P24,000.

In Apayao joint personnel of police also arrested Jerrymae Doyom Velasco by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Francisco Donato of RTC, Branch 26, 2nd Judicial Region, Luna, Apayao for rape with no bail recommende­d.
