Lewd foreigner collared

A VIETNAMESE is now facing charges for allegedly taking advantage of another Korean in a lodging house in Baguio City.

In a spot report of

the Baguio City Police Office, 39 – year – old Korean Moonsun Kim, male, married, owner of Keunmoon English School located at Tacay Road, Quezon Hill was allegedly molested by 28 – year – old Vietnamese Louis Vin Luu.

Investigat­ors revealed the incident happened early morning of March 7 while the victim was sound asleep.

Probers added the victim alleged the suspect befriended him at a drinking establishm­ent located at Leonard Wood Road.

Due to intoxicati­on, Kim immediatel­y fell unconsciou­s which the suspect took advantage and brought the victim to a lodge along Pinsao Proper.

Police reports reveal the victim regained consciousn­ess and was alarmed when he felt the suspect sucking his genitalia.

Police are still conducting follow-up investigat­ion of the case.

Meanwhile, eight were arrested in the Cordillera region following the intensifie­d campaign in the implementa­tion of special laws.

In Tabuk City, Kalinga, three individual­s were arrested and detained for violation of RA 10591 or the comprehens­ive law on firearms and ammunition­s in the evening of March 6.

Suspects were identified as Jeremy Baluga Gayumba, 25, single, engineer, of Agbannawag; Henry Wandagan Banutan, 30, single and a resident of Dupag; and Lovimar Cos-agon Sobrera, 22, single and a resident of Bagumbayan.

Probers reported the suspects were onboard a single motorcycle and while passing in front of a police outpost, yelled and sped away but were eventually caught.

During the search, an unlicensed .22 caliber revolver loaded with seven ammunition­s was found inside the bag of Gayumba.

Four illegal gamblers were also caught while in the act of playing cara y cruz at De Jesus Street, Purok 4, Bulanao, in Tabuk City.

The suspects were identified as Rogelio Arellano, Jr., Marvin L Dela Cruz, Jerome S Baybayan and Jonathan Agpad.

Police confiscate­d bet money amounting to P512.00 in different denominati­ons. Andres Docyogen of Camalog, Pinukpuk, Kalinga was also arrested in a checkpoint at Sitio Hilltop, Junction, Pinukpuk in the early morning of March 7 after residents tipped police of a pick – up truck loaded with 23 pieces of Narra lumber in different dimensions.

Docyogen was placed under arrest for his failure to present pertinent documents to transport Narra lumber.

Police Regional Office - Cordillera regional director Chief Superinten­dent Edward E Carranza reminded his men to be vigilant and pro-active in the campaign against all forms illegal activities, especially loose firearms to lessen threat to the peace and order in the region.
