Kalinga dads push for infra dev’t
TABUK City, Kalinga - The provincial board is one with the provincial chief executive in taking bold steps in pursuing the “Build Build Build” program of the Duterte Administration.
Vice Gov. James Edduba said several measures were approved by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) in support to the infrastructure build-up of the country covering road networks, vertical structures, expanding transport franchise including non-infrastructure components.
There are requests for the Department of Tourism to allocate P200 million for the improvement of Dugpa-Bayao-Taga tourism road and to the Department of Agrarian Reform through Sec. John Castriciones for the appropriation of P100M for the construction of Ileb, Nambaran-DilagDagupan farm-tomarket road (FMR).
Another is a request to Pres. Duterte through Dr. Elsa Timbreza of the Hugpong Federal Movement of the Philippines to allocate P100M for the improvement of the DupliganAllubagggan-CudalBanneng FMR.
A proposal was also submitted to the Department of Public Works and Highways through Sec. Mark Villar to provide funds for the improvement of Cudal-Calaccad barangay road.
On vertical infra, there is a request for funding to the Department of Education through Usec. Alain Del Pascua for the construction of 101 classrooms in the municipalities of Pinukpuk, Balbalan and
Tinglayan.
Gov. Jocel Baac approved said proposals as they are identified in the local development plan in support to the agricultural development of the province while that on school buildings to raise the quality of education among school children.
