Police trainees told to observe discipline

- Jonathan Llanes Sun*Star Reporter

THE POLICE Regional Office – Cordillera has constantly reminded police trainees on the importance of practicing discipline in their performance of their duties.

This was relayed by PRO - COR regional director Chief Superintendent Rolando Nana during the 50th anniversary of the Cordillera Administrative Region Training Center (CARTC) in Baguio City.

“Our focus now is the internal discipline of our policemen and this starts with the proper use of their uniform and haircut. And like what we said during our assumption as regional director, we should always wear our uniform correctly including our haircut,” Nana said.

“We congratulate and extend our solicita-

tion of support to the CARTC in its celebration of its 50th founding anniversary. This institution has gone a long way in molding our students particularly in their professional advancement. We encourage CARTC to continue to provide skills training, knowledge and education to our policemen and other stakeholders,” the Director stated.

CARTC serves as the training institution for the members of PROCOR, composed of the provinces of Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga and Mountain Province, and the cities of Baguio and Tabuk.

Nana noted the performance of police trainees undergoing training at CARTC which practices a national standard of training methodology.

“From how I look at it, our police trainees in the region are on track. There is a standard in the academic training being implemented by the CARTC to all Police trainees in our region,” Nana added.
