ONE MORNING, a man woke up and looked at the mirror. And he saw that he only had three hairs on his head. He broke into a smile and said, "Gee, I think I'll braid my hair today.” And that's what he did and he had a wonderful day.

The next morning, he woke up and looked at the mirror. And he saw that he only had two hairs on his head. He smiled and said, "I think I'll part my hair in the middle today.” And that's what he did and he had a wonderful day.

The next morning, he woke up and looked at the mirror. And he saw that he only had one hair on his head. He smiled and said, "Hmm, I think I'll wear my hair in a ponytail today.” And that's what he did and he had a wonderful day.

The next morning, he woke up and looked at the mirror. And he saw that he had NO hair on his head. He smiled and said, "Thank you God! I don't have to fix my hair today!” And that's what he did and he had a wonderful day.

We can choose to be happy people. It is not because we don't have problems (we all have problems!). People can decide to be happy no matter what problems they have.

Nothing can put you down. Nothing can crush you. Nothing can take away your hope. The Bible says, If God is for you, who can be against you?

PAGASA expects typhoon “Mankhut” to enter the Philippine area of responsibi­lity today, Wednesday. Once in the PAR, it will be call "Ompong."
