CHICAGO — Klay Thompson has broken teammate Stephen Curry’s NBA record for 3-pointers in a game with his 14th during a brilliant offensive performance by the Golden State Warriors.

Thompson set the mark with just under five minutes remaining in the third quarter Monday night against the Chicago Bulls. He was mobbed by teammates as the players headed to the sideline for a timeout, with the Warriors leading 113-69.

Golden State led 9250 at halftime, the second highest point total for a half in NBA history. Phoenix scored 107 points in the first half of a 173-143 victory over Denver in 1990.

Thompson was just 5 for 36 from long range through Golden State’s first seven games.

Curry hit 13 3pointers against New Orleans on Nov. 11, 2016.

Meanwhile, sans Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks remained the only unbeaten in NBA after edging Toronto Raptors.

With the way they’re shooting from the 3point line, the Bucks look like they can beat just about anybody in the NBA.

Ersan Ilyasova scored a season-high 19 points and the Bucks cruised without the injured Antetokounmpo to beat the Toronto Raptors 124109 on Monday night in a showdown of the NBA’s last undefeated teams.

Milwaukee improved to 7-0 in a marquee matchup that lost some luster with Antetokounmpo in concussion protocol and Raptors star Kawhi Leonard sitting out to rest.

The Bucks’ start to the season matches the 1971-72 club for best in franchise history. Milwaukee made up for Antetokounmpo’s absence with another strong showing from the perimeter, with Malcolm Brogdon and Eric Bledsoe chipping in 17 points each.

“Of course we have more confidence when (Antetokounmpo) is on the floor,” Brogdon said. “But we have a lot of confidence even when he’s not on the floor due to the system and due to the confidence that (coach Mike Budenholzer) gives us.”

Serge Ibaka scored 30 points for Toronto, which had its franchise-best 6-0 start snapped. Pascal Siakam added 22.

It was the first game in NBA history between teams with a record of 6-0 or better, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. THE MOST dominant world champion in mixed martial arts history has arrived in ONE Championship.

Demetrious Johnson has signed a landmark deal that will see the American megastar compete in The Home Of Martial Arts.

Widely regarded as the best pound-forpound combat sports athlete of this era, the 32-year-old will head to Asia to showcase his incredible skill set in front of a new legion of appreciative fans.

Johnson began his martial arts journey as a successful wrestler in high school, eventually finishing as one of the top wrestlers in the state of Washington during his junior and senior years. In 2007, two years after his graduation, he made the switch to mixed martial arts.

He then put together a 10-bout win streak and quickly found himself competing in North America’s biggest promotions.

In 2012, Johnson became the inaugural UFC Flyweight World Champion, and his grip on the title has been unrivaled anywhere else in the sport. He posted 11 consecutive defenses over a six-year stretch, finishing seven of his elitelevel challengers inside the distance.

Dominating the opposition put in front of him, the Washington luminary became renowned for arguably the most complete repertoire of skills ever seen in the cage.

Johnson currently holds a 27-3-1 professional record, with five wins coming via knockout and 11 via submission. He has never been finished in his 11-year career.

Now, after clearing out the flyweight division in North America, he has opted to test himself against fresh challenges in Asia.
