Good practices in conducting district seminar-workshop
TINOC District conducted District Seminar-Workshop without funds from higher offices on July 4-7, 2018 at Tinoc Central School.
The seminar-workshop highlighted the enhancement on the pedagogical skills of teaching Reading in MTB-MLE and the Bridging Process, Multi-factored Assessment Tool (MFAT) and Inclusive Education.
Seventy teachers joined the seminarworkshop. These teachers were those who handle Kindergarten and Grade 1-3 while Mrs. Vilma T. Allatis was the training coordinator of this said seminar-workshop.
This seminar-workshop was very successful and fruitful with the help of Mrs. Beatriz M. Pullig, Head Teacher III of Danggo ES. This practice focused on the management of meals and snacks for the participants.
Good practices that contributed much to the success of the seminar-workshop were the following:
Teachers donated voluntarily an amount of 100 pesos per day times 4- day training period for kindergarten teachers while 3-day training period for Teachers in Grades 1-3.
After the training, the evaluation on food was excellent. It is nice to hear that with the meager amount, each participant was very much satisfied with the nutritious foods being served by the cook.
School Aids and School Nurse helped in the preparation and cooking of food for the participants even the training extended to Saturday.
This is very much helpful because the training coordinator will not hire people just for cooking and snacks preparation.
Proper Budgeting of the total amount and presentation of Financial Audit to Participants – this minimize doubts and murmuring from the participants.
Evaluation of Food – The participants rated food and snacks as excellent because they are nutritious and health-conscious foods.
With this, future seminars in the district that have no fund can be successful with the help of this established good practices of Tinoc District.
