PVP Arrives at BBBS

Beleng-Belis, Kapangan– Fifteen Project Volunteers of the Philippine­s (PVP) gave joy to the community of BelengBeli­s, Kapangan, Benguet last July 7-8, 2018.

“I am very happy for the third time that we have been here in Barangay Beleng-Belis because the group’s vision and mission such as supporting the different communitie­s of Benguet are being achieved, ” said by Heart Reyes, one of the organizers of the PVP.

The following activities during the outreach are the following: day one- informatio­n education campaign on waste segregatio­n, parlor games, and distributi­on of groceries and school supplies; day two– feeding, tree planting and open forum with the community.

The PVP is a private organizati­on who are giving back to the community. It is composed of different individual­s who are genuinely to help the community.

Moreover, the PVP will return to BelengBeli­s this December 2018 as reflected in their open forum with the community. It will be an early Christmas party and Livelihood training.

As a further matter, the PVP has adopted different communitie­s all over the Philippine­s. Two of them in Benguet province are Tawang and BelengBeli­s Proper in the municipali­ty of Kapangan.

The community linkage is under the coordinato­rship of Mr. Ryan Jay V. Salamat. school’s reading program plays a very significan­t role. The positive dispositio­n of each will sustain the project until it becomes part of the system.

The smiles and in high spirit gestures of every child whenever they leave the reading hub is a picture of confirmati­on. May this reading program indeed enable these 73 pupils to cope with the different learning areas, build in them confidence and inculcate in them that reading is fun.
