MAX Ehrmann in the Desiderata explained each one has a story. As journalist­s we are trained to listen to all stories and in the time of the pandemic, there is an abundance, the blackbook of Covid 19 can be compiled by mediamen and women who hold with them backstorie­s of the infected.

Each Covid-19 patient here has an interestin­g story to tell filled with love, hope, violence all the elements needed to make a good novela.

The only difference is that real people are living the tele novela and their lives are now being watched by their entire city, waiting for them to recover from the infection.

As we are ordered to stay indoors, the Commission on Human Rights said women and children who experience physical, psychologi­cal, and sexual abuse are trapped inside the homes they share with their abusers.

One Covid patient was battered by a life partner that the city had to make special arrangemen­ts for the patient to have her child stay with her at the hospital while battling the virus, if only to keep safe the child and herself from an abusive partner, upon recovery, she was led to her new home and now lives away from her abuser.

Another Covid patient was suffering from depression because of a prolonged stay at the hospital the mayor called up daily to keep the patient’s spirits up.

The latest patient, who had a drinking spree and fistfight before being detained at the local jail tells a story of sorts.

The drinking spree in the middle of a liquor ban was so fun it caused a fight among the drinking buddies promoting the father of the patient to break up the fight and ask for peace.

The dad ended up in the hospital and the patient while being brought to the station managed to punch officers sending him straight to jail.
