Wil­con De­pot opens 39th branch

Wil­con De­pot opened its 39th branch Fri­day, Septem­ber 8, at Zone 5, Barangay Cug­man, Ca­gayan de Oro City.

As the name sug­gests, Wil­con De­pot is a dealer of a wide ar­ray of the lat­est im­ported and lo­cally-made build­ing and fin­ish­ing ma­te­ri­als. Wil­con De­pot CDO has a to­tal sales area of over 12, 00 square me­ters that holds qual­ity home build­ing ma­te­ri­als from tiles, san­i­tary wares, ap­pli­ances, plumb­ing, tools, and hard­ware. It also of­fers DIY (do-it-your­self) ma­te­ri­als such as elec­tri­cal, build­ing ma­te­ri­als, au­to­mo­tive, doors and mould­ings, out­door liv­ing, paints and sun­dries.

The event was par­tic­i­pated by Wil­con Founder and Chair­man Emer­i­tus Wil­liam Belo, who was re­cently rec­og­nized by the Philip­pine Re­tail­ers As­so­ci­a­tion as the Fa­ther of Home build­ing Re­tail and as an Out­stand­ing Filipino Re­tailer Awardee for 2017.

Belo was joined by Wi­con De­pot's Se­nior Ex­ec­u­tive Vice-Pres­i­dent (SEVP) and Chief Op­er­at­ing Of­fi­cer Rose­marie Bosch-Ong, and SEVP-Chief Prod­uct Of­fi­cer Ca­reen Belo.

Mayor Os­car Moreno and 2nd Dis­trict Rep­re­sen­ta­tive Max­imo Ro­driguez and other lo­cal gov­ern­ment of­fi­cials of Ca­gayan de Oro were also present in the store's open­ing.

Ac­cord­ing to Bosch-Ong, the chose Ca­gayan de Oro as the city is a con­ve­nient place for busi­ness and rec­og­nized as the 2nd most live­able city in the coun­try.

" I did my re­search. This is the hub for busi­ness that's why it is very fit­ting that Wil­con lo­cated its 3rd branch in Mi­nadano, so there's so many ex­cit­ing things to look up to in Ca­gayan de Oro'', Bosch-Ong said.

In line with Wil­con De­pot's goal in pro­vid­ing cos­tumer con­tent­ment and in­com­pa­ra­ble ser­vices, the com­pany of­fers a wide se­lec­tion of strong and de­pend­able lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional brands, ar­ranged in a neat and clut­ter-free man­ner.

"Wil­con De­pot will show its dis­tinc­tion, yung dis­tinct ng Wil­con to bring the brand of cer­tain and the choices of prod­uct that we have, aside from the ser­vice, the re­tail­tain­ment, you get en­ter­tain when you go in­side with our pre­sen­ta­tions and of course the dif­fer­ent brands se­lec­tion I think tha's one of the most dis­tinct qual­i­ties of a Wil­con store'', she added.

Clients can find dif­fer­ent qual­ity brands at the store such as Grohe and Kohler San­i­tary wares, Franke Kitchen Sys­tems, Pozzi Bath­room So­lu­tions, Koller Bath­tubs and Shower Ac­ces­sories, Di­rect Hard­ware, Ro­cersa and Gres­pania Tiles dis­played their Tile Stu­dio. Heim home in­te­rior and Her­itage home fur­ni­ture are fea­tured at the Liv­ing, Kitchen and Bath (LKB) show­room. Adding to the ex­ten­sive prod­uct of Wil­con is the newly launched Al­phalux light­ing so­lu­tions.

Ac­cord­ing to Wil­con Founder and Chair­man Emer­i­tus Wil­liam Belo, Wil­con only of­fers the best stocks for their cus­tomers.

"Our stock is one of the best stocks per­former in stocks ex­change'', Wil­con Founder and Chair­man Emer­i­tus Wil­liam Belo said.

Wil­con De­pot also pro­vides ser­vices that al­lows cus­tomers to cre­ate their de­sired 3D lay­out through a com­puter soft­ware in the De­sign Hub sec­tion in­side the store. Val­ued cus­tomers can also avail of the Wil­con Loy­alty Card for free and en­joy promo of­fer­ings.

Wil­con De­pot aims to open 5 more branches this year alone in Iloilo, Ca­banat­uan, Cavite, Ta­cloban and an­other branch in Min­danao in Zam­boanga City.
