Friday’s event featured STI’s Talent Search 2017-Regional Cluster Competition which showcased STI’ers skills in terms of singing, dancing, and communication skills.

STI Cagayan de Oro was the host school of the activities and the events were spearheaded by STI-CDO Deputy School Administrator Mario Malferrari.
According to Malferrari, the main purpose for holding the competitions is to foster student development-- to make sure that the students develop their other skills and talents, not just focus on academic development.
“Since we’re trying to develop other talents, the skills of our students we also make sure the 4 C’s which includes there critical thinking communication skills, the character and the change depth all embedded to our students’’, Malferrari said.
“Its not just about the competition or showcase, we make sure that naa sad sila natun-an like sportsmanship, acceptance whether winner or loser diba so dili siya ingon na basta-basta lang, we make sure na there’s values makuha sa students’’, he added.
