CMOFA congress on Nov. 30

- By Jack Biantan

CMOFA president Percy Guarin yesterday announced that the congress will start at 1 p.m. The venue will be announced later.

Included in the agenda will be the identification of the members of the association. “This is very important as the CMOFA has been in existence for a long time now but the membership is still vague,’’ Guarin said.

Also to be finalized during the congress is what exactly is the name of the association as the original name MOCAGESCO Regional Football Association stated in the new constitution and by laws has been heavily criticized.

MOCAGESCO is an acronym for Misamis Oriental Cagayan Ginggoog El Salvador Camiguin and Opol. They are the big cities and municipalities that comprise the association.

There are suggestions that the association retains the CMOFA and replace
