The first speaker of the forum, PFF Technical Director and now Aquilas head coach Marlon Maro will then guide the participants on the importance of this coaches conference.

Azkals coach Thomas Dooley will then update the participants on the Azkals, their future and the challenges they have experienced.

Former head coach of Thailand National Men’s team, Vietnamese Tuan Hoang Anh will then end the conference with a talk about his experience with the Vietnamese U20 team during the U20 World Championship.

On Dec. 2, Eric Abrams, the technical director of Australian Football, will deliver his message on development models in football with emphasis on youth development structures starting at 10 a.m. An open forum will then follow.

PFF grassroots development officer Aguilino Pastoral III will then update the coaches on the grassroots situation in the Philippines in the afternoon. Another open forum will then follow.

National youth teams coaches Emelio Caligdong (Boys U15) , Bongbong Dorlas (Boys U16), Marielle Benitez (Girls U14) , Joyce Landagan (Girls U14), and Jose Maria Aberasturi (Boys U19) will then hold a panel discussion with the coaches.

Japan FA coach education director Kawamata Noriyuki will then share his experience in developing the technical needs of Japanese players with emphasis on model of training center approach.

The third day of the conference will focus on the development of the women’s game. Japan FA academy coach Sakao Miho will share her experience on Japan’s model of women’s development. After lunch, women’s national coaches Letecia Bautista, and Marnelli Dimzon will update the coaches on the Philippine women’s national team, the Malditas.

Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Deputy Technical Director and Head of Coaches Education Wim Koevermans will then teach the coaches on how to see core competencies needed in developing young players.

Coach Marlon Maro and Manila-Meralco coach Ariston Caslib will then end the threeday forum with updates on coaches development and youth football development in the country.

At least 250 participants not only coaches but all football stakeholders are expected to attend this conference oraganize by the PFF through the MVP Foundation. (l.biantan@ gmil.com)
