n April 22, ABS-CBN actress and host Anne Curtis

finally crosses the finish line on her London Marathon journey. She posted a picture on her instagram with a caption saying “And I did it! Finished my Second World Major Marathon Time - 5:12” After the New York Marathon 2016, It was Anne’s second time to join a World Marathon.

She continued describing the feeling of being able to successfully crossed the finish line.

“The @londonmarathon was my hardest race. The hardest to get inyo and the hardest for me to finish. Don’t get me wrong, the route is much easierthan NYC but I did not expect the unusual London heat.”

She continued reminiscing saying, “The moment I hit 20km at 12:30pm.

I had a hard time breathing, felt dehydrated, the sun was beaming intensely and at one point I wanted to give up (I know. So dramatic) but I knew I was running this for a cause.”

From the last line, Anne takes courage in finishing the marathon knowing that her main goal was running for the FILIPINO YOUTH and the people who were affected in the Marawi Crisis.

“Running with a mission - For the FILIPINO YOUTH @unicefphils.

As painful as it was, it helped me power through those 42 kilometres!”

“I’d like to thank the Filipino Community here in London that were on the side lines cheering on me.
