PLDT SME Nation powers Cebu’s biggest wildlife attraction
PLDT Enterprise, the B2B arm of the country’s leading ICT and digital services provider— through its small and medium business group, PLDT SME Nation embarks on a partnership with the newly opened Cebu Safari and Adventure Park.
The wildlife sanctuary—which aims to become one of the Philippines’ top destinations for tourism, boasts of animal species within a vast 170-hectare area of land.
In order to give visitors an enhanced theme park experience, Cebu Safari tied up with PLDT SME Nation for the establishment of connectivity infrastructure and solutions within the facility— most significant of which are the iGate and Smart WiFi service.
“I’ve always wanted to do something great for the Philippines, and my vision for Cebu Safari is for it to be listed among the world’s top zoo attractions along with those in San Diego and London,” said Cebu Safari and Adventure Park President and CEO Michel Lhuillier.
“To be able to do this, we want to elevate the zoo and wildlife part experience for our customers by leveraging on the latest digital technologies,” he added.
Cebu maintains its position as the fastest growing region in the country. As such, PLDT SME Nation has increased its efforts in providing for the region’s local business across different industries.
Most recently, the PLDT Group launching its second VITRO Data Center location in Cebu earlier this month—to further support the region’s growing adoption and need for technology and innovation.
