VICE GOV PELAEZ INAUGURATES AHMPO IN SALAY

The legislative engagement roadshow of the Office of the Vice Governor of the Province of Misamis Oriental set foot in the Municipality of Salay, Misamis Oriental on Friday, 15 June 2018, while the Muslim world celebrates Eidl Fitr. In the same occasion, VICE GOVERNOR JOEY G. PELAEZ, together with PROVINCIAL BOARD MEMBER JIGJAG G. PELAEZ who was represented by his eldest daughter JELIZZA M. PELAEZ, launched the A Happy MisOr People’s Organization or AHMPO before representatives of various sectors inside the Salay Gymnasium.

According to Vice Governor Pelaez, AHMPO will look after the poor and the marginalized and help them grow out of poverty. Incidentally, the acronym AHMPO means prayer in the Bisaya language.

The AHMPO launch featured award-winning actress ASSUNTA DE ROSSI, newly-crowned Mr. Universe Tourism ION PEREZ, Ms. Philippine Youth NADINE BORNILLA and Mr. Philippine Youth ALMAHIL BIH II who declared their support to AHMPO and the various initiatives of Vice Governor Pelaez. It was attended by the youth, Boy Scouts, teachers and school administrators, young professionals, women, elderly, Barangay officials, ordinary people and other sectors.

Present in the simple activity was Municipal Consultant CELSO PERIN, Salay National High School Principal PRESENTACION ALARBA, and DepEd Salay District Supervisor BEATRIZ E. ACDAL.
