Narcs nab 2 drug suspects

Anti-narcotics agents have arrested a drug suspect who is in the watch list of the Philippine Drug Enforcement AgencyNorthern Mindanao (PDEA-10) at barangay Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City, over the weekend.

Arrested during the drug-bust was certain Saipoden Sangcopan, resident of Acacia extension, Carmen.

Seized from the suspect were three sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, known as shabu, weighing about 10 grams and worth around P60,000.

Meanwhile, the number 15 of the top 20 regional level drug personalities in the watch list of PDEANorthern Mindanao was also arrested in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, over the weekend.

Police arrested 35 years old Shermie Nanale, resident of Bugo, this city and Genoveva Rocero, of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon during the buy bust operation.

Seized from their possession were two sachets of suspected shabu.

Authorities are still tracing the drug network of the suspects.

Suspects are charged with selling of illegal drugs, a non-bailable offense.
