Bambi optimistic of `federal government’
MISAMIS Oriental Governor Yevgeny Emano is raising confidence that the province can stand should the federal form of government is pushed through.
Emano made the statement after the province was cited as one of the provinces that raised revenue collection since 2016.
The governor said the increase in revenue collection showed that investors were confident to pour their investments in the province because of their trust in the present administration.
Emano said increase in revenue collection would also mean more farm to market roads, medicines for Misamis Oriental Care Systems (MisOr Cares), more support for barangay empowerment, and more services will be delivered to the people.
Emano said there are only few private companies situated at the Phividec Industrial Estate in Tagoloan town who refused to pay their tax obligations.
“Pipila na lamang ang dili gabayad diha sa Phividec and one of them is naa tay pending case right now nga around P700 million nga collectible nga hangtod karon nagmagahi pagbayad,”Emano added.
