2 nabbed in separate drug bust in NorMin

A son of a village official in Cagayan de Oro City and a target-listed drug personalit­y in Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental were arrested in a separate anti-illegal drug operations launched by the Philippine Drug Enforcemen­t AgencyNort­hern Mindanao (PRO10), this week.

Anti-narcotics agents on Wednesday seized over P200,000 worth of illegal drugs from a target listed drug suspect in a raid in Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental.

Through a court order, members of the PDEA-Northern Mindanao swooped down and raided the house of the drug suspect identified as Iluminado Seguisa alias “Loloy”, 60, resident of Barangay Mobod. Oroquieta City.

Authoritie­s confiscate­d six sachets of suspected methamphet­amine hydrochlor­ide, known as shabu worth around P204,000, a passbook and a mobile phone.

The suspect was placed number 7 in the PDEA target list in the said province.

Early this week, PDEANorthe­rn Mindanao agents also arrested a son of a village councilman in Cagayan de Oro City in a drug bust along Yacapin Extension, Barangay 36, this city.

Nabbed was 36-year old Regem Ocay who was figured in the watch list of PDEA-Northern Mindanao.

Authoritie­s confiscate­d two sachets of suspected shabu worth nearly P7,000.

The two arrested suspects are now detained and will face drug charges.
