2 nabbed in separate drug bust in NorMin

A son of a village official in Cagayan de Oro City and a target-listed drug personality in Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental were arrested in a separate anti-illegal drug operations launched by the Philippine Drug Enforcement AgencyNorthern Mindanao (PRO10), this week.

Anti-narcotics agents on Wednesday seized over P200,000 worth of illegal drugs from a target listed drug suspect in a raid in Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental.

Through a court order, members of the PDEA-Northern Mindanao swooped down and raided the house of the drug suspect identified as Iluminado Seguisa alias “Loloy”, 60, resident of Barangay Mobod. Oroquieta City.

Authorities confiscated six sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, known as shabu worth around P204,000, a passbook and a mobile phone.

The suspect was placed number 7 in the PDEA target list in the said province.

Early this week, PDEANorthern Mindanao agents also arrested a son of a village councilman in Cagayan de Oro City in a drug bust along Yacapin Extension, Barangay 36, this city.

Nabbed was 36-year old Regem Ocay who was figured in the watch list of PDEA-Northern Mindanao.

Authorities confiscated two sachets of suspected shabu worth nearly P7,000.

The two arrested suspects are now detained and will face drug charges.
