Last month, City police director Senior Superintendent Nelson Aganon appeared during the city council’s regular session and asked the local lawmakers to approve their request for a P1.3-million supplemental budget. The request was submitted in July.
Aganon presented before the city’s legislative body the Cocpo’s accomplishments and continuous efforts to reduce crime volume in the city.
He said the budget allocation from the city government has run low for the third quarter of this year due to the increasing number of antiillegal drug operations and checkpoint operations, among others.
