VG PELAEZ INAUGAURATES NEWLY-BUILT MULTIPURPOSE BUILDING OF LURISA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
VICE GOVERNOR JOEY G. PELAEZ led the inauguration and turn-over ceremony of the newly-completed Multi-Purpose Building cum Evacuation Center of Lurisa National High School in Gingoog City worth 3 Million Pesos. The construction was made possible by SENATOR BAM AQUINO with his funding initiative.
The multi-purpose building will provide conducive venue for the conduct of the school’s various programs and activities. Moreover, it was purposely built as a community-friendly facility to accommodate families from barangays comprising LURISA, namely: Barangay Lunotan, Ricorro and Samay, in times of calamities.
Thru the initiative and recommendation of Vice Governor Pelaez, a number of schools and barangays in the province have been provided with multi-purpose building. He continuously works to provide more facilities in barangays and schools.

JOY MANGUBAT, Public School District Supervisor GENRARA TINGABNGAB, Senior Education Program Specialist on Mobilization SHERWIN CUERDO, DepEd Gingoog City Curriculum Implementation Division Chief PABLITO ALTUBAR, Don Restituto Baol Central School Assistant Principal DR. NORMA TORREON, GIMPAB Construction representatives ENGR. PABLITO SAROMIREZ and ENGR. KHIM BACULIO, Department of Public Works and Highways-Misamis Oriental First District Engineering Office representative ENGR. MARCELINO CABEGUIN, Barangay Samay Council headed by Barangay Chairman ROLANDO MORILLA, Barangay Ricorro Council headed by Barangay Chairman ROSALINO LOPOY, Barangay Lunotan Council headed by Barangay Chairman NELSON DUMALUAN, and the whole school community of Lurisa National High School.
