‘Hey Joe Show' Cebu mall tour

The Youtube hit sensation Hey Joe Show featuring Connor, Davis, Jake, Tylan and Sumner is in town. The boys will be dropping by SM malls to entertain their fans with a variety show of singing, dancing, and comedy skits using the Cebuano dialect come Aug. 12 and 13.

The five young Americans who are missionaries in their true to life vocation learned the Visayan dialect and became fluent, which pleasantly surprised many of the locals. Jake said he, Davis, Tylan, Sumner and Connor met while serving their two-year mission in the Visayas, particularly in the provinces of Bohol, Cebu and Negros Oriental.

As the five foreigners fell in love with the Cebuano dialect and culture, they decided to make videos and posted them on Youtube and named their group Hey Joe.

Their first video Amerikanong Bisaya was posted on YouTube on Oct. 1, 2014, where they introduced themselves in the Cebuano language.

Davis said it was intended to entertain their friends in the Philippines who could give feedback on how the five could improve the dialect.

Their first video went viral and earned positive comments and was shared by thousands of Filipino fans.

Special guests to the Hey Joe Show are Jewel Villaflores, Medyo Maldito and John Neil Roa.
